No dia 28 de fevereiro, aconteceu a premiação do Globo de Ouro de 2021. Apresentado por Amy Poehler e Tina Fey, a cerimônia teve como destaque "Nomadland" que venceu as categorias de Melhor FIlme de Drama e Melhor Diretora. A série "The Crown" também recebeu destaque por ganhar em quatro categorias. Outro acontecimento importante foi a premiação póstuma de Chadwick Boseman pela sua performance em "A Voz Suprema do Blues". Além disso, Jane Fonda recebeu o prêmio Cecil B. De Mille, categoria honorária da premiação que premia os vencedores por sua carreira.
